Loose plastics #1 and #2 are acceptable for recycling.Recycling containers will be left uncollected at the curb if they contain non-recyclable materials.Recyclables will only be accepted loose in a bin and may be rejected at the curb if placed in a plastic bag.Materials collected at the curb MUST be loose and free of any plastic bags or film plastic.All glass must be removed from curbside recycling and discarded with household waste.Schedules are available at the Municipal Building. Materials for recycling are picked up every other week during regular collection times. Residents are required to recycle aluminum and bi-metals cans, plastic and newsprint. Stop by the Municipal Building during business hours- 8:00am to 3:00pm to receive a free recycling containter. All residents and commercial establishments are required, by ordinance, to recycle.
